While I am not normally a fan of playing food tricks, I can’t resist a little food humor and changing a food’s appearance. Remember these burger shaped cookies from last Summer?

Supplies you’ll need

A great thing about this prank is that you don’t need any unique items to pull it off. Two common household objects are all you need to get started: aluminum foil and permanent markers.

Then you need something to replace the chocolate candy center of an Easter egg. Here we used grapes. Other round produce ideas include: grape tomatoes, gooseberries, kiwi berries, dates, Brussel sprouts and pearl onions.

Instructions

Cut foil into squares large enough to cover your produce. Color one side with the marker. Repeat with other colors.

IMPORTANT: Allow 3-5 minutes for the foil to dry. Otherwise it will rub off onto your fingers.

Crumple the foil then smooth it out. Wrap each piece around the produce.

Repeat to make as many eggs as you like.

hahahahaha! what a fun idea! love a good food prank. I remember one of my first food pranks was to pour hot sauce in cookies to serve to my cousins. They said they loved hot sauce & liked them…. that doesn’t sound right 😉

That’s funny, can’t imagine how hot sauce would taste there. I did just google spicy cookie recipes. Now that’s a prank I want to try!
