Spreads so good, you’ll want to have them all day long. I know I do. I’ve already shared a Breakfast Spread Sandwich that’s perfect for breakfast, brunch or even brinner (breakfast for dinner). I’m back to share this tuna fish sandwich as more of a lunch/dinner option with made with Sabra’s new line of spreads.

Honey Mustard Tuna Pretzel Sandwich
Still dipping pretzels into mustard? Time for this popular snack food to get a healthy twist, with this honey mustard tuna fish sandwich.
Ingredients
- ½ pound fresh tuna, cut into 2 portions (~¾ inch thick pieces)
- 3 tablespoons Honey Mustard Sabra Spreads, divided
- 1-2 tablespoons butcher ground black pepper
- 2 pretzel rolls, halved lengthwise
- 2 small Israeli pickles, julienne
- 2-3 slices red onion
- ¼ cup arugula
Instructions
Prepare the tuna fish*
- Spread 1 tablespoon of honey mustard Sabra Spreads onto all sides of a piece of tuna. Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
- Pour the pepper onto a plate. Dip the second piece of tuna into the pepper, all around the edges.
Cook the Tuna
Preheat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Once heated add both pieces of tuna to the pan and sear for 2-4 minutes per side, until desired doneness.
Assemble the Marinated Sandwich:
Spread 1 tablespoon of Honey Mustard Sabra Spreads along the inside of the roll. Layer with the marinated tuna, red onion and pickles.
Assemble the Peppered Sandwich:
Spread the remaining 1 tablespoon of Honey Mustard Sabra Spreads along the inside of the roll. Layer with the marinated tuna and arugula.
Notes
*This recipe makes 2 sandwiches: one marinated and one peppered. You can adjust the ingredients to make just one of the tuna flavor options.
